Plastic Injection Moulding
Instant Quote Service
Blow moulding is different from injection moulding and allows for the production of ‘hollow’ plastic products – such as a bottle. We can provide blow moulding for any quantity of components and also advise from the beginning of the design process through to production.
The basic process of blow moulding is that the raw plastic material in granule form is fed into a hopper on top of the machine. The plastic is then guided into a feed, similar to that of injection moulding, which is heated and threads the plastic along to the mould. The plastic is then directed into the mould along with air ‘blowing’ the plastic to form the shape of the mould. The mould in turn is cooled which then turns the component solid.
